Friends of Wellhouse
The Friends of Wellhouse, usually meet once a term on an evening to plan fund raising events.
All the proceeds of the events are used to buy items for the school, some of the items we have bought have been:
- digital cameras for each class
- Musical instruments
- PE equipment
- Contributions towards school trips
We usually hold around 4 – 6 events a year, which have included a summer fair, quiz night, beetle drive and treasure hunts etc.
Last year we held our first joint venture with the Friends of Clough Head which was a talent show; this was a huge success with an excellent attendance of adults and children.
The members of the ‘Friends of Wellhouse’ include both parents/guardians, grandparents and teachers, the meetings are very relaxed and we have fun whilst raising money for the school.
We need new members this year, so if you are interested please come along to our next meeting.
