Eco-Council
 
Meet the members of our Eco Council. Our aim is to help to make our school more sustainable and environmentally friendly. We meet on alternate Tuesdays with Mrs Duns and Mrs Kenworthy. All our Eco Councillors have roles and responsibilities, such as turning the lights off, collecting paper to be re-cycled and composting waste collected from classrooms and the staffroom.
 
 
 
We are going to be discussing lots of different Eco subjects, and we have covered water, compost and energy so far. We are currently working on our Action Plan, which gives us goals to work towards to help Wellhouse school be more Eco Friendly and we are also working towards our Silver Eco Schools Award. We are planning an Eco assembly soon, and there will be another Green Day following from the success of last year's event which we are hoping will be even better!
