On the 9th November 2011, to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the St James's bible, Class 3 visited Golcar Scout Hut to learn about the bible. We found out that it was translated firstly from Greek, then to Latin and finally to the English version we know today. We listened to the 'Prophet Elijah' who told a fascinating story from the bible, and the children even got the chance to write their own piece of the bible, which will be recorded with their names on forever. When it is finished, printed and bound we will all get the chance to see it!
